Since January 1, 2025, requirements rest on a mandatory risk assessment (low/moderate/high risk by nature of work) combined with workers per shift. 'Low risk work' means administrative, professional or clerical tasks. The employer sets the number and level of first aiders and the kit type (Type 1, 2 or 3) from that assessment.
